"Druim Buidhe" ("drim-boo-ee") was built in 2001 in the style of a traditional Scottish cottage and is situated on the hills of Uragaig, on the gorgeous Inner Hebridean island of Colonsay .
The cottage has spectacular views over one of the loveliest beaches and dune areas in the whole of Britain - Kiloran Bay . With only a 5 minute walk down to the beach, peace and tranquility is a hallmark of this property.
The cottage sleeps 6 comfortably but can extend to 8. 2 large twin rooms upstairs (1 has a king size double and pull out twin) and separate bathroom with shower. There is 1 double bedded room downstairs with en-suite facilities.
There is a generous front porch for coats and boots, large hall and good sized sitting/dining room - simply but comfortably furnished. A large fully equipped modern kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and gas/electric hob and oven. The whole property is centrally heated and carpeted throughout. Sky TV and DVD provided. All bedding and towels together with service charges are included in the rental price.
There is a fenced front garden and open back patio area with seating. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
Available for rent throughout the year. Changeovers Fridays. Some short lets available especially out of high season. Terms & Conditions together with letting rates (which range from £260 low season to £650 high season) and availability calendar will be sent upon application.
