"Donmar" B & B - Uragaig

|
Donmar is a magnificent modern house, newly built in 2003, with wonderful views across Uragaig towards the Ross of Mull, the Torran Rocks and towards Dub Hirteach lighthouse. It is an excellent centre for walking and is particularly well-placed for ornithologists and botanists. There are pebble beaches close at hand as well as a wide selection of sandy coves and bays, culminating in Kiloran Bay itself, more than a mile of unbroken glorious sand. Adventurous families might like to explore the cathedral-like depths of the New Cave, to fish for trout in nearby Loch an Sgoltaire or explore the lofty delights of Cailleach Uragaig and Pigs' Paradise.
The house has 4 letting rooms, all with television. There are three twin rooms, also an en-suite family room with a double and a single bed. Shower and w.c adjoins the twin rooms. Free WiFi for guests.
There is a choice of full or continental breakfast; tea and coffee making facilities are available at all times in the dining room. Restaurant facilities are available at Colonsay Hotel (bar and dining room) and at "The Pantry" family restaurant, both of which serve meals throughout the day.
No evening meals are served and, regretfully, we have no facilities for dogs.

New for 2012: we now also offer a spacious and comfortable 6-berth caravan, close to Donmar and enjoying the same magnificent views
